Undergraduate research project

Integrative Biology, University of Guelph

I am a fourth year undergraduate student majoring in Wildlife Biology and Conservation. I got my start in research working on the Squirrel Life Project under Elizabeth Porter and have since shifted gears to focus on the evolution and distribution of different colour morphs of the eastern gray squirrel. My current project is also focused on developing new methods for automating the analysis and identification of physical characteristics of animals (i.e., squirrel colour morphs) in photos from large datasets.
