I am an MSc student in the Department of Integrative Biology at the University of Guelph, co-advised by Drs. Karl Cottenie and Shoshanah Jacobs. My MSc project will involve developing a large-scale, accessible research program that will help us understand the process and barriers of transforming citizen science data into meaningful publications that advance knowledge and understand of ecological topics. The creation of this program will also facilitate collection of a large quantity of data pertaining to squirrel behaviour, among other things.
I first became interested in research during my undergrad at UoG, where I completed a BSc in Bio-Medical Science with a minor in Zoology. In my free time I am either volunteering at Wild Ontario where we train non-releasable raptors for use in educational programming, or spending time outside.
